Product Information
HELMUT LENT
(1918-1944) German night-fighter ace in World War II. Lent shot down 110 aircraft, 102 of them at night, far more than the minimum of five enemy aircraft required for the title of ‘ace’. Large bold blue ink signature adding rank, placed at the center of a 8×11 beige sheet imprinted: ‘Germany’s most successful Night Fighter Winner in 102 Night Fights’, likely a postwar overprint. A small printed portrait is glued to the page as well. Fine condition.
