RARE, THANK YOU NOTE SIGNED BY BOETEL,

ERICH BOETEL
(1904-1940) German politician and SA leader, a member of the Reichstag and later soldier with the 22nd Infantry Regiment in Gumbinnen. KIA in Belgium. Rare printed ‘Boetel’ a printed note thanking the recipient for congratulations extended upon his promotion within the SA.

He was promoted to SA-Oberführer (Senior SA Leader) on April 20, 1935, and simultaneously took command of SA Brigade 1 “Memelwacht,” which he led until November 30, 1936. On January 30, 1937, he was promoted to SA-Brigadeführer (SA Brigade Leader), and from February 1, 1937, he was responsible for the duties of a department head in the Personnel Office of the Supreme SA Leadership
