SS Four Year Service Medal, brass alloy (Tombak) construction with a blackened finish which remains entirely intact. All of the original detail is likewise excellent, save for a few spots of scattered oxidation. The obverse depicts SS runes within a wreath of oak leaves, the reverse reading in relief: ‘Fur treue Dienste in der SS’ (‘For loyal service to the SS’) superimposed over the numeral ’4′.
