SS 8 Year Long Service Medal, die struck brass alloy (Tombak) with a bronze wash. 1.5 in. dia. Essentially all of the original surface finish is present, with almost very light mainly to the high points of the wreath and the outer rim of the medal. Bears the expected irregular pebbling, teardrop-shaped welded suspension loop and the distinctive ridge on the ring supporting the suspension loop. overall fine condition.
