MAX JUTTNER
(1888 – 1963) German officer and paramilitary activist, served from 1934 to 1945 as deputy chief of staff of the SA and as head of the chief executive office of the Supreme SA leadership with rank as SA-Obergruppenfurhrer. Max Paul Wilhelm Werner Jüttner (11 January 1888 – 14 August 1963) was a German military officer and an SA-Obergruppenführer in the Sturmabteilung (SA), the Nazi Party’s paramilitary organization. He served from 1934 to 1945 as head of the leadership office at the SA Supreme Command, and as the SA-Stabsführer from 1939 to 1945. He also sat as a deputy in the Reichstag of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. Captured after Germany’s surrender in the Second World War, he testified at the Nuremberg Trials in defense of the SA.
