JACOB SPRENGER-(1884 – 1945) Nazi politician, an anti-Semite who quickly through the ranks to become Gauleiter of Hesse-Nassau-South, an elected member of the Reichstag, and High President of the Prussian province of Nassau in 1944. Committed suicide with his wife at war’s end. 4 x 2.5 in. b/w, a small portrait image of Sprenger in uniform, affixed to the corner of a piece of cardstock, signed to the right of the image in black ink.
