Typed on official ‘Die Oberste S.A.-Fuhrung’ letterhead 1p. Berlin July 15 1941 to HANS LAMMERS (1879-1962) Minister and Chief of the Reich Chancellory ordered arrested by Hitler in the final days and ultimately sentenced to twenty years imprisonment for war crimes. Lutze asks for further information concerning a list of S.A. group leaders Lammers has asked to have sent to a certain meeting or function: ‘…I cannot see what the purpose of this list is…With the multitude of my upper group and group leaders and their various positions in party and state…I have to know what you intend to do with the S.A. leaders…’ Tape repair to top margin file holes at left and a few dockets still very good.RARE
