Nice M40 Winter white cammo paint, with 1 bullet hole beside the eagle decal, exit hole at top of helmet, can not read the shell numbers, a very nice example of of battlefield relic, no rot, nice leather liner approx 57? does not appear to belong to this helmet, so a good liner for a good helmet 80% eagle decal visible NICE WW2 DISPLAY

M35 DD Steel helmet, six shrapnel holes (e ENTRY 3 EXIT), some rust on finish, Original green shell, signs of brush camo paint, Lt grey, DK grey, green camo from WW2 German bunker rubble, NO ROT, unable to read the shell numbers, no liner, traces of eagle decal, 60% tri color decal, Great WW2 combat relic.
RELIC CONDITION.
NOTE: Helmet shell has been spray laquered, but very nice overall

A nice m-40 KM helmet, double decal, gold eagle with swastika scratched off, ne-nazified? otherwise perfect decal national decal is perfect, very clean and soft leather liner, black chinstrap, marked 1942, rear number 1018, side number hkp66, liner stamped, overall, a bit of age to the helmet, light normal wear, very nice helmet, to bad about the decal, but still rate it an 8. helmet still a rare double decal kriegsmarine m40
